Koralee Helen Jaspers, 69, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at her home in Shelbina.
Koralee was born August 2, 1952, in Mason City, Iowa the daughter of Clark Wilbur and Helen Palmere (Helgren) Trenhaile. She was married to Jerry Jaspers on November 27, 1971 in Northwood, Iowa. He survives.
She was an active servant of Jehovah. Koralee was an author who wrote several books. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, painting, baking and especially gardening with her herbs and making home remedies. She extremely loved her grandchildren and being a part of their lives. She leaves some advice: serve Jehovah with all your strength and might! I’ll see you in the new world.
Koralee is survived by her husband, Jerry; four daughters, Ann Edmondson and husband John of Keokuk, Iowa, Marie Handsaker and husband Shawn of Woodburn, Iowa, Laura Wieman and husband Keith of Hudson, Iowa and Diana Hatcher and husband Stewart of Shelbina; 12 grandchildren, Kianna Wieman, Remma Jaspers, Madeline Handsaker, Ean Edmondson, Ethan Hatcher, Izzy Wieman, Eli Hatcher, Clark Handsaker, Emery Edmondson, Grayson Handsaker, Liam Handsaker and Easton Hatcher; her mother Helen Trenhaile of Northwood, Iowa; siblings, Carolyn Meyer and husband Randy of Deer Trail, Colo., Holly Watson and husband Kurt of Rockwell, Iowa, Wayne Trenhaile and wife Barb of Northwood, Iowa and Eric Trenhaile and wife Patti of Northwood.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 10 at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral service will begin immediately following at 2 p.m. also at the funeral home.
