Rosemary ”Rose” Ellen Trivette, 61, of Shelbina, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at her home.
Rose was born August 17, 1960 in Ironton, the daughter of Albert and Florence (Morgan) Gibbs. She was united in marriage to Don Trivette from 1980 to 1998, and remained close since. She worked within the community throughout the years, including Casey’s General Store and made several friends. She enjoyed traveling and sightseeing, playing board games and cards, especially Rummy. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed baking cookies with them and taking them to the park.
She is survived by two children, Jessica Trivette (Travis Bentley) of Shelbyville, and Robert Trivette of Columbia; two grandchildren, Gage Webb and Elijah Bentley; one brother, Mike Gibbs (Linda) of Festus; one sister, Jeanette Gibbs (Rich Brandeberry) of Independence; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant granddaughter, Hollie Webb.
A celebration of life gathering was held Tuesday, October 12, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, followed by a memorial service starting at 3 p.m.
