Judy Ann Harrison

Judy Ann Harrison, 77, of Shelbyville, passed away from a long illness Monday, December 6, 2021, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

She was born November 7, 1944, in Kansas, the daughter of Ernest William and Beulah May (Willey) Kiser. On June 1, 1963, she was united in marriage to Harry W. Harrison on June 1, 1963 in Moberly.  He preceded her in death June 5, 2015.

Judy is survived by one daughter, Julie Hammond and husband Rusty of Shelbyville; two grandchildren, Ethan Hammond and Sierra Hammond (Kendall Douglas) both of Shelbyville; one sister, Donna Mersman (Weldon) of Shelbyville, four brothers, Ernie Kiser (Genelle) of Richmond, David Kiser (Tina) of Shelbyville and Joe Kiser (Carmen) of Shelbyville and Rob Kiser (Patty) of Palmyra and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; infant daughter, Rhonda Kay Harrison; and two brothers, Roy Kiser and Danny Kiser.

Judy was a member of the Shelbyville Baptist Church. She owned and operated Harrison Nursing Home for four years. Judy enjoyed growing flowers and watching birds that came to visit. She also enjoyed crafting, canning her garden vegetables and playing cards with her friends and family. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids and family.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 10, at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina. A visitation will be held on Friday from 12 p.m. until the start of the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
