The Raiders won the first home against the Community Trojans on Friday, December 17, 74-33.
Brendyn McDaniel led NS with 23 points. JD Rich tallied 11. All 10 players scored in the game.
Landon Bender, Noah Greenwell and Carson Orr each had six rebounds.
“We wanted to come out and start the game fast and put our opponent on the ropes as quickly as possible and the boys did just that, said North Shelby head coach Landon Daniel.
The Raiders (5-1) scored 45 points in the first half. The Trojans only tallied 14. NS had a big third quarter claiming 28 points, but only scored one point in the fourth period.
North Shelby caused almost 30 turnovers and scored 37 points off of those turnovers.
“Defense was a big part of our game tonight but we executed on offense as well and had a lot of guys hit some quality shots,” Daniel continued, “We rebounded well too, against a team that was much taller than we were.
