Minutes Submitted by City of Shelbyville
The Board of Aldermen met in regular session on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at city office at 4 p.m. Present were Aldermen Jerry Myers and Rob Southers, City Clerk Gina Mesmer and Alderman Paul Sulser arrived at 4:20 p.m. Mayor Mike Vanskike and Alderman Brad Willey were absent.
Alderman Myers opened the meeting at 4:23 p.m.
Alderman Sulser made a motion to approve the minutes from December 6 and December 23, 2021. Alderman Southers seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Alderman Sulser made a motion to pay the bills. Alderman Southers seconded the motion. Motion passed.
The board received information on the year ending quarterly budget.
Alderman Sulser made a motion to approve the budget amendment and Alderman Southers seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken with Alderman Myers YEA, Alderman Southers YEA, Alderman Sulser YEA.
Alderman Southers made a motion to pay $500.00 to the 41st Circuit Court for Treatment court. Alderman Sulser seconded the motion. Motion passed.
The board looked at the financial statement and Alderman Sulser made a motion to approve the financial statement for publication and Alderman Southers seconded the motion. Motion passed.
The next meeting will be February 7, 2022.
Alderman Southers made a motion to adjourn at 4:28 p.m. and Alderman Sulser seconded the motion.
