Forty-eight-year-old Kurt Shuck, of Hunnewell, was arrested after allegedly fleeing from law enforcement Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
According to the Probable Cause Statement, when the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office attempted to arrest Shuck for an outstanding felony warrant, Shuck allegedly fled and drove through several bean fields located north of Hunnewell in Shelby County.
According to court documents, the fields are owned by Gerald and Leslie Shuck. The damage done to the fields is over $750.
Court documents state on July 28, 2022, in the 41st Judicial Circuit, of Shelby County, the honorable Judge Fredrick Tucker issued a felony warrant for Kurt Shuck for failure to appear on several felony charges.
The PC Statement states there is body camera footage showing Kurt Shuck fleeing/resisting arrest and property damage.
Kurt Shuck is being charged in case No. 22SB-CR00136 with Resisting/Interfering with Arrest For A Felony – Felony E and Property Damage – 1st Degree – Felony E by Shelby County Prosecutor Jordan Force.
Kurt Shuck is being held in the Shelby County Jail on a $25,000 cash only bond.
