The Raiders were defeated by Cairo Bearcats in the third-place game on Friday, January 20, 2023 in the 34th Annual North Shelby Tournament.
Cairo dominated North Shelby 76-27 with three starters out for the Raiders.
Casey Shockley led the Raiders (6-9) with 10 points. Cole Browning claimed nine.
The Raiders scored 25 points in the first half. The Bearcats earned 52.
NS only tallied two points in the second half.
Raiders vs. Schuyler County
North Shelby (6-8) only scored 11 points against the Rams in the semi-final championship game on Wednesday, January 18. SC won 60-11.
Brendyn McDaniel had four points, JD Rich had three and Cole Browning and Oren Vanskike claimed two.
North Shelby vs. Mustangs
The Raiders defeated Marion County in the first round of the tournament on Monday, 46-37.
McDaniel led with 14 points. Rich had 11. Jade Daniel earned eight, while Cole Browning had five. Casey Shockley and Gabe Orr had three and Clay Cook scored one point.
McDaniel went 8-for-9 from the charity line.
The Raiders (6-7)scored 19 points in the first quarter, but only five in the second.
