The South Shelby Lady Birds ended the regular season with two losses on the road at Cairo and Silex.

The Lady Birds traveled to Cairo on Monday, October 9, 2023, and lost 10-3.
McWilliams led South Shelby with three hits, one run scored, one RBI, and one stolen base. Kamryn Mitchell added two RBIs.
McWilliams pitched six innings, allowing 11 runs, seven earned runs, on six hits. She walked nine and struck out five batters.

Silex 16
On Wednesday, October 11, the Lady Birds traveled to Silex and lost 16-1.
South Shelby’s lone run came in the top of the first inning on an error.
Silex scored five runs in the second inning and 11 runs in the third inning to close out the win in three innings.
The Lady Birds were held to two hits.
Kylie Million pitched two and one-thirds of an inning, allowing 16 runs, 11 earned runs, on 12 hits. She walked six and struck out two batters.
