The South Shelby Cardinals had no trouble in gaining a 71-38 victory over the Brookfield Bulldogs on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.
The Cardinals jumped out to a 12-0 lead to start the game, led by Pryce Eagan’s eight points including two threes. The Cardinals led 12-2 after one quarter.
Eagan added nine points in the second quarter as South Shelby continued to build its lead. The Cardinals outscored the Bulldogs 23-12 in the quarter to take a 35-14 lead at the half.
South Shelby increased its lead in the third quarter with a 22-13 advantage to build the lead to 57-27 after three quarters. Noah Wilt scored nine points in the third quarter to help pace the Cardinals on offense.
The Cardinals went on to win the game 71-38.
Eagan led the Cardinals in scoring with 22 points, including four threes. Preston Elsen added 10 points, while Wilt finished with nine points.
Mason Pfannenstiel had eight rebounds, followed by Chance Rainey with seven.
