Lady Raiders Move on to Play for District Championship

The Lady Raiders defeated Marion County in the second round of district play with a final score of 63-44.
Hadlee Parsons led with 19 points, followed by Harper Copenhaver with 12 points, Ally Rich with 11 points, and Andi Belt with 10 points. The team had 20 rebounds, 19 assists, and 10 steals to end the night.
In the first quarter, Rich scored three with an assist from Parsons. Parsons scored a three as well. Marissa McEwen scored two and Addy Uhlmeyer scored two.
Before the half, Copenhaver scored another three and Parsons scored a few buckets in the paint. Belt scored a few shots as well, including a couple jump shots. The halftime score was 41-20, with North Shelby leading.
After the half, Rich hit two threes. Uhlmeyer and Belt both scored two.
In the fourth, Copenhaver scored another couple buckets, including one off of a steal and a layup. McEwen scored another two as well.
The Lady Raiders moved on to play for the District Championship on Friday at 6:30.
