The South Shelby Lady Birds traveled to Canton on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, and finished second in out of five teams.

Highland won the meet with a score of 183. South Shelby finished with a score of 203, followed by Centralia with a 206, Canton with a 207, and Monroe City with a 219.

Katelyn Wilt led the Lady Birds with a score of 46, followed by Sofia Eleazarraraz with a 50, Charlie Roush with a 53, Hannah Gaines with a 54, and Belle Roush with a 55.

Zairi Vanskike-Hardy shot a 58, Madison Wilt a 59, and Lilly Van Houten a 60, but were not counted towards the team score.
