The South Shelby Cross Country teams traveled to Moberly High School on Thursday, October 3, 2024. The boys team finished in third place overall in the Boys 5k run with a team score of 119. Southern Boone won the meet with a score of 33, followed by Kirksville with 51.
Leading the way for the Cardinals was Cooper Seaton with a time of 19:17.22; followed by Beau Mason with a score of 19:22.05; Titus Moore with a 20:11.98; Schyler Mason with a 20:31.85; Maxwell Mason with a 22:55.03; and Caden Stevenson with a 23:23.71.
Samentha Koper led the girls with a time of 22:34.84, which was fourth place in the girls 5k run. Others competing were Kylie Barton with a time of 24:08.51; and Jordyn Hunolt with a time of 26:18.48.
In the girls 2500 meter run, Hadley Seaton finished with a time of 14:06.18.
In the boys 2500 meter run, Ezra Moore finished with a time of 13:43.23.
