Veterans Day Celebrations to be Held

  Local schools and other entities will be holding Veterans Day Celebrations in the next few days to honor local veterans. All veterans and community members are welcome to attend the events.

  South Shelby High School will be holding a ceremony at 2:00 p.m. in the high school gym on Friday, November 8, 2024. The school is asking veterans to arrive by 1:30 p.m.

  North Shelby Elementary will be holding a celebration at 9 a.m. in the elementary gym on Monday, November 11, 2024. The school asks veterans to meet in the library for coffee and donuts beginning at 8:15 a.m.

  A service will be held at Salt River Community Care at 10 a.m.
