BETHEL, MO – Heartland Recovery is set to host the second annual “Harmony of Healing: Uniting Hearts in Recovery” event, a collaborative presentation of resources available in the tri-state area to help deal with addiction, incarceration, mental health, homelessness, and other life challenges faced by men, women, and children.
Organizations presenting during morning and afternoon sessions include Chaddock, Horizons, Preferred Family, Shelby County Cares, Broken & Beautiful, ARM Prison Outreach, and Heartland Recovery. Additionally, there will be time to peruse resource tables and connect with other service providers.
“There are so many organizations doing incredible work in our region, but too often, people don’t know where to turn for help,” explained Scott Miller, HMRP Assistant Director. “The need for addiction recovery, mental health support, and reentry services has never been greater, and Harmony of Healing is about bringing people together—organizations, ministries, and individuals—so that no one has to face these challenges alone. We hope this event sparks new collaborations that facilitate meaningful change.”
Whether you represent a nonprofit organization, social services, the judicial system, or a private entity desiring to discover what services are available, we invite you to attend. The event is offered free of charge and will be held on Friday, April 25th, from 9am to 3:30pm at the Heartland Community Church (just off Rt. E between Newark and Bethel) at 6434 Shelby 150, Bethel, MO 63434. A complimentary lunch is provided. RSVP is required by April 15th; call 573-633-5603 or register online at hlandrecovery.org.
