Raiders Beat Marion, Knox, In Double Header

The Raiders played a double header on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, facing Marion County and Knox County, and beating both teams. Three seniors were recognized with their parents between games.
NS vs. Marion County
The Raiders took defeated the Mustangs, 1-0.
Cole Browning sealed the deal for the Raiders after hitting a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the fifth inning.
The Raiders had five hits against MC. Kaden Hunolt claimed two while Browning, Ty Bacon and Colton Gander each had one hit.
Ty Bacon struck out seven batters while Isaac Berry struck out two.
Raiders vs. Eagles
NS took down Knox County, 10-0.
The Raiders scored after Cole Browning singled, Kaden Hunolt grounded into a double play, Grady Gander singled to center field and Ty Bacon singled, each scoring one run. NS led 4-0.
Isaac Berry scored after Cade Fallert reached first on dropped third strike.
Bo Bacon was walked and Ty Bacon scored. Browing doubled on a ground ball to left field and Colton Gander and Kale Pollard scored. NS took a 8-0 lead.
The Raiders next run was scored after Ty Bacon singled on a fly ball to center field and Hunolt came home. Their last run in the game came after Berry singled on a ground ball to shortstop and Ty Bacon came home.
As a team, NS had nine hits in the game. Berry, Browing and Ty Bacon each collected two. Fallet, Grady Gander, and Colton Gander each had one hit.
Browing struck out six Eagles and only walked three.
The Raiders are scheduled to place at Atlanta on Tuesday, April 29. NS will travel to Canton on Wednesday, April 30 and host Paaris on Friday, May 2. All games are scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m.
