Minutes Submitted
The Shelbyville Board of Aldermen met in regular session on Monday, July 7, 2025 at city office at 6 pm.
Present were Mayor Mike Vanskike, Aldermen Brad Willey, James Dunn, Gene Boyles and Rob Southers. Gina Mesmer, Randy Shores and Nathan Minear. Mayor Vanskike opened the meeting at 6 pm. A motion was made by Alderman Willey and seconded by Alderman Southers to approve the June minutes.
A motion was made by Alderman Willey and seconded by Alderman Boyles to approve the bills. Motions passed.
The board reviewed the quarterly budget report. Gina had some questions on next years budget.
A motion was made by Alderman Southers and seconded by Alderman Boyles to approve the Financial Statement for publication. Motion passed.
There was more discussion on cameras and signs for the park and shop. We will purchase signs to put at each facility and put a camera at the shop. Randy Shores and Mike Vanskike are the CCWWC representatives.
The board approved to make Nathan Minear the alternate representative when Randy cannot make the meeting.
The next meeting will be Monday, August 4th at 6 pm. Alderman Southers made a motion to adjourn at 6:25 pm and Alderman Boyles seconded the motion.
