The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office has received multiple complaints of individuals receiving phone calls from law enforcement officials asking them why they did not appear in Federal Court and that a Federal Warrant for their arrest has been issued .
The caller states that they are with the Sheriff’s Office and to send thousands of dollars for various charges to an online account .
DO NOT EVER send money to any kind of calls like this. And be advised that NO law enforcement agency will call you to tell you that there is a warrant for your arrest or ask that you send money.
