Shelby County Youth Cross Country

The Shock Runners kicked off their season on September 6th , at Battle Middle School in Columbia. This is a new course for them. It was great weather and they had top 10 runners in each age group!  This is their developmental meet. This meaning a practice meet and their distance is not as far as they will compete in the rest of the year. The 6–8-year-olds ran a 1K (0.62 miles), while all other age groups ran a 2K (1.24 miles).  Next race each age group will run 1K more!  Sunday, September 21st at Fulton High School. Meet starts at 2PM.
