Buckman Named as New Board Member

The Shelby County R-IV Board of Education held a regular meeting on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in the South Shelby Middle School Library beginning at 6:00 p.m. Board President Aaron Kendrick called the Regular meeting to order.

The board interviewed three applicants for the board vacancy, David Farrell, Jeanette Poore and Kim Buckman per Policy 0324.

A motion was seconded and approved uninanimously to appoint Kim Buckman for the vacant board position.

Dr. Daleske read the oath of office to Kim Buckman.

Kim Buckman was seated for the final adjournment vote.

A motion was seconded and approved to adjourn. The meeting adjourned at 7:08 pm.
