Clarence Woman Receives Minor Injuries in Accident

A Clarence woman was in an accident on Friday, December 26, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. on county road 416 two miles southeast of Clarence in Shelby County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a 19-year-old female, was eastbound in a 2012 Chevrolet Impala, when she swerved to miss a deer in the roadway and traveled off the southside of the roadway.

She was transported by private auto to Samaritan Hospital in Macon with minor injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt.

The Impala had extensive damage and was insured.
