The Lady Raiders cruised through the Meadville Tournament and brought home first place on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
NS took down Grundy County, 68-36, in the championship game.
Mallory Griffin led with 23 points. Ally Rich collected 12 while Hadlee Parsons scored 10.
The Lady Raiders outscored Grundy 24-13 in the first quarter. Rich hit two 3 pointers while Parsons scored five points. Griffin and Harper Copenhaver each contributed four while Saide Gander hit a three and Clara Uhlmeyer put in a bucket.
Griffin led NS in the second period with six points. Copenhaver hit a 3 pointer and Uhlmeyer scored two points. NS led 35-25 at halftime.
The Lady Raiders added 20 points to the board in the third quarter. Griffin continued to dominate as she collected 10 points. Finley Parsons and Rich each scored a 3 pointer. Copenhaver hit a bucket. North Shelby took a 55-27 lead.
NS added 13 points to their lead in the final period. Hadlee Parsons had five while Rich hit another three. Griffin contributed three points and Aubri Luckett hit a bucket.
Lady Raiders vs. Meadville
NS took down Meadville in the semi-final matchup on Friday, January 30, 59-36.
Mallory Griffin and Hadlee Parsons each had 17 points. Harper Copenhaver scored 14.
The Lady Raiders put 15 points on the board in the first quarter. Copenhaver scored five while Parsons contributed four points.
Finley Parsons hit a 3 pointer. Griffin went 2-for-4 from the free-throw line. Taylin Prange went 1-for-2 from the line. NS led 15-10 at the end of the period.
The Lady Raiders scored nine points in the second quarter. Hadlee Parsons had four points while Copenhaver collected three. Griffin put in a bucket. NS held a 24-17 advantage at halftime.
NS had a big third quarter scoring 21 points. Hadlee Parsons scored seven while Copenhaver hit two 3 pointers. Ally Rich contributed five points and Griffin had three.
NS continued to dominated as they scored 14 points in the final period.
North Shelby vs. Hale
The Lady Raiders got an easy win against Hale in the first round of the tournament on Tuesday, January 27, 73-7.
Each Lady Raider scored in the game.
Mallory Griffin led with 20 points. Harper Copenhaver contributed 13 points.
In the first half NS scored 40 points while Hale only scored two.
Griffin scored 10 points in the first quarter. Hadlee Parsons had five while Copenhaver scored four. Ally Rich hit a three and Taylin Prange and Finley Parsons each scored a bucket.
Prange and Griffin each scored four points in the second period. Copenhaver and Finley Parsons each collected two points.
Copenhaver led NS in the third quarter as she scored seven of the 19 points. Griffin collected six while Sadie Gander had four and Finley Parsons had two.
Alexis Browning and Aubrey Klusmeyer each had four points in the fourth period. Gander, Prange and Aubri Luckettt each scored two points.
The Lady Raiders are scheduled to host Salisbury on February 9 and Knox County on February 13.
