Margaret Darlene Baldwin

Margaret Darlene Baldwin, age 86, of Holliday, Mo., passed away at the Baptist Homes Nursing Home of Shelbina on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

Darlene was born on January 13, 1940, the daughter of Russell and Ethel (Schnitzer) Waite. She was united in marriage to Cloyce Baldwin on June 16, 1957. They are now reunited in heaven.

Darlene worked on the family farm her entire life. She was always cooking meals for everyone or staying busy with whatever needed to be done. She loved children and never met a stranger. She also enjoyed watching Cardinal baseball.

She is survived by her two children, son Phillip (Mary Jane) Baldwin of Holliday, and daughter Deanna Wilkerson of Holliday. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Jared (Brandi) Baldwin of Shelbina, Mo., Chad (Shelby) Baldwin of Rochester, Minn., Nowell Wilkerson of Moberly, Mo., Jennifer Wilkerson (Mike Glasson) of Holliday, and Joni (Jared) Harris of Holliday.

She leaves four great-grandchildren: Katelyn, Joe, and Ryan Baldwin, all of Shelbina, and Alyssa Glasson of Holliday.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cloyce; sister Louise Arbuckle; brothers Bill Waite and Lonnie Waite; and her son-in-law, Charlie Wilkerson. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life was held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina.
