SS Golf Finishes Third at South Shelby, Centralia Meets

  The South Shelby Cardinals hosted the South Shelby Open Golf Meet on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the Shelbina Lakeside Golf Course.

  The Cardinals finished third overall with a team score of 324. Palmyra won the meet with a 315, followed by Monroe City with a 323.

  Colt Schmitz led the Cardinals with a score of 73, followed by Kole Lanpher with an 82, Chase Moellering with an 84, Waylen Owens with an 85, and Carson Gough with a 90.

  On Monday, April 20, the Cardinals traveled to Centralia for the Centralia Invitational Tournament.

  The Cardinals finished third overall with a team score of 326. Palmyra finished first with a score of 315, followed by Centralia with a 316.

  Colt Schmitz led the Cardinals with a score of 74, followed by Waylen Owens with a 79, Kole Lanpher with an 84, Carson Gough with a 89, and Chase Moellering with a 95.
