The South Shelby Cross Country Boys Team placed first in the Moberly Invite on Thursday, September 28, 2023 with an overall score of 61. Kirksville finished second with a score of 71 and Eldon finished third with a score of 97.
Noah Wilt finished second with a time of 18:01.03; Titus Moore finished fifth with a time of 18:35.61; Cooper Seaton finished 11th with a time of 18:51.11; Beau Mason finished 17th with a time of 19:24.28; Schyler Mason finished 36th with a time of 20:21.51; Maxwell Mason finished 52nd with a time of 21:12.76; and Caden Stevenson finished 77th overall with a time of 22:56.62.
Abigail placed seventh overall in the girls meet with a time of 22:21.76.
The cross country teams hosted the CCC meet on Monday, October 2. They will participate in the Columbia Invitational on Saturday, October 7, beginning at 10:30 a.m., and Tuesday, October 10, beginning at 4 p.m.
