The Lady Raiders finished their season (15-8-2) after being defeated by La Plata in the semi-final district game on Monday, October 16, 2023, 4-2.
The Lady Bulldogs scored in the second. NS jumped back into the lead in the top of the sixth inning after Andi Belt doubled and Harper Copenhaver tripled, each scoring one run.
La Plata added to the board in the bottom of the sixth after a single brought in one run and a homer to center field brought in two runs.
Addy Uhlemeyer surrendered four runs on eight hits for the Lady Raiders. She struck out five and walked zero.
Belt and Copenhaver each collect one hit for NS. Emme Jones and Riley Stoneburner each stole multiple bases.
La Plata’s Whitney Snow struck out 18 Lady Raiders and only walked three.
