This past weekend, June 6th and 7th, Area III FFA officers attended the annual Area Officer Institute (AOI) at Camp Rising Sun, located at the Lake of the Ozarks. This two-day event gave officers the chance to grow their leadership skills, make new connections, and prepare for the year ahead.
AOI is a special training designed to help FFA area officers learn how to lead more effectively. During the event, they participated in workshops led by current and former Missouri State FFA Officers. These sessions focused on team building, communication, and goal setting—important tools that officers will use throughout the year.
In addition to learning, officers had fun building friendships with members from all over the state. The experience helped unite the team and set a strong foundation for a successful year in FFA leadership
