The South Shelby Lady Birds golf team traveled to Palmyra on Thursday, September 11, 2025, to compete in a quad match against Quincy High School, Monroe City, and Palmyra.
South Shelby finished second with a team score of 190. Quincy won the meet with a score of 185. Monroe City finished third with a score of 195, followed by Palmyra with a score of 213.
Zairi Vanskike-Hardy and Charlie Roush led the Lady Birds, each shooting a 45, followed by Katelyn Wilt with a 46, Callie Moellering with a 54, and Cleydi Godinez with a 55.
Players seeded higher than five and not counted towards the team score were Lilly Van Houten with a 48, Emma Eagan with a 53, Kylee Barton with a 54, and Shelby Rickerson with a 60.
